We all work well together. We are all working under the same circumstances and understand one another.
Most of the customers are very nice and pleasant, and I feel genuinely happy when I can help them to find what they need.
The interview was easy, because they knew I already had a great deal of customer service experience. I had to pass a math test to use the register, but that was easy as well.
The cashiers and customer service staff need to be paid a living wage. Our benefits are so expensive many of us are now using MedicAid instead. We need a more stable schedule. Many of us are parents or students.
Give us better hourly pay. My last annual pay raise was 9 cents an hour. That's pathetic! Plus, we have benefits, but between the co-pays, deductibles and deductions from our paycheck, many of us have switched to state-sponsored benefits.
