I enjoy the challenges of retail and the fast pace keeps me motivated to continue to do my best. Customer service care is why I'm working with Family Dollar, I enjoy serving my community and helping them find what they need. I primarily close and some shifts are more challenging than others.

The district manager was personable and professional.

Being given reasonable tasks and the resources to complete them with little stress
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Store manager needs to stop being passive aggressively attacking her staff, if she communicated instead of avoided, we might have better team effort.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We always do the best we can with the resources we have available. If a team member is struggling we try to find a position they feel confident about
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am supposed to be full time but my hours were cut to 25 this week, I was told it's because I answered the DM questions about the current schedule and apparently that wasn't for me to discuss. The store manager never told me this information and I didn't even know she was upset.
