Employees simply need to get along and learn that you're not there to make friends. You are there to work. The drama there is ridiculous.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to better themselves in training new employees and not be rude to them when they mess something up. They are a new employee. They are bound to make mistakes.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
They should ask relevant questions. I walked in and they gave me a job before I even filled out their questionnaire on their computer. They tend to go through a lot of employees in a year, and I think that's why.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I felt undervalued working there when I was constantly hovered over. It made me very anxious, so much that I actually quit. I only got 13 hours a week, and I feel every employee at that store feels undervalued for their work hours. We deserved way more. The pay was horrible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the most positive thing at the job was actually when I went on lunch break....that's only given to you IF you get enough hours in a day to take one, which was VERY rare. Why I say this is because you could be alone, not hovered over, and no dramatic people around you.
