Fred Meyer Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our direct managers are awesome people that remember that we're all human.

I have mixed feelings about the whole thing Wright now.

Direct management did their best to retain quality employees. Upper management and HR could care less.

They eventually get transferred away.

their support and willingness to help me succeed

Respect full breeze to be along with

They are very kind, fun to be around, and they look at us as equals. Also, I'm a single mom of four, so sometimes, life happens. They have always been super understanding regarding the circumstances of my life and for me, that's a necessity.

They are pleasant and they listen to concerns

They are really nice, but work slow and sometimes sloppy

Teamwork approach. Fair, firm, approachable.

My store manager is right there with us so are all the managers. They make me want to be a manager. Yes stress and all that's my goal. They listen, they care, they are honest, and above all they are just as funny as serious about work. They are the best

I work overnights, what I love is that when mangement gets in they come around to every department and see how we are doing. Ifeel seen and heard!

Very friendly and supportive to employees.

They are great to work with

Our leadership teams are true leaders - willing to help grow our associates into the next leaders.

Everyone communicates so well and it is a welcome change of pace.

I like that the are fair on consent on how they treat people and try to help people best to there ablitties

Our team is supportive and easy to get along with

Nothing there all useless they waste air

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

discipline and accountability and stability

Better training on ethics and customer service with ethical & communication class or training!

Talking to people realizing who got them where they are at

Be more efficient with answers and employess are overworked in job site.

Being honest and forthright with their employees. Working towards an understanding that the environments in which employees are valued and treated well have better overall success and customer satisfaction. What is good for your employees is good for your customers.

Pay people a living wage, better health coverage, better hours, and support against mean and bad customers.

Being respectful to employees instead of bullying them.

Their job. Communication. Honesty. Integrity.

Much improvement in training associates to broaden their skill base and prepare them for promotion. Also much improvement needed in providing the tools and equipment to do the every day job well.

Review from Sales Dept

Understanding and cooperative about taking ons responsibilites when it comes to problems.

Literally everything. Treat people better

Employ people who aren't degenerates

Treating employees like people and no like a number

Everything and all the things

Actually working with the employees in their departments that actually understand what the customers want and need. And to stop making stupid superficial changing to make it look like their job still has a purpose. Stop adding more work to each position without taking something away of equal time

Review from Sales Dept

Providing better pay to its employees

Review from Product Dept

Caring about the employees instead of just the numbers. If your employees are your numbers will follow suit.

Review from Operations Dept

The managers at the store that I work for has a horrible reputation. It is hard to apply for other places here while stating that you worked in management position. The managers are known for not treating their employees correctly and punishing them for following policies that they should enforce.

Review from Customer Support Dept

keep better control of your department heads. Your department heads are bullying your employees and going against the feed the human spirit platform that Kroger says it believes in. Department heads are also scheduling against union contract rules regarding senority, hours in between shifts and more

Review from Customer Support Dept

Consistent communication and task prioritization. Time management could also use work.
