I joined FSA in November 2004. I have loved every minute of my work. My experience with FSA has always been positive. My interactions with the leadership team has always been a great experience. I have interacted with George, Steve and Sarah, who have always encouraged me to share my thoughts.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The most important part of my compensation package is that healthcare is offered. I don't know that there is a "best" part as every part of the package has its own importance to me.
What makes you most happy at work?
The work! I find happiness and fulfillment in the work that comes through the ARU. The atmosphere, it is a pleasure being here. Although some days are extremely busy, the atmosphere somehow remains calm.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team has made itself available to any employee, and has made its intentions clear in what they would like to do to help retain employees. The team has shown concern and desire to seek ways to retain its employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are fortunate that we work in an environment that is all inclusive. There is no obvious line between contractors and federal employees. We also work in an environment where almost everyone is respectful of their fellow employees regardless of position.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is dedicated. I am proud of their contributions to the mission of the office, and to the ARU. They take pride in their work and want to do the best they can everyday. Each individual member of the team has something unique to offer. My team is cohesive, and are inclusive of each other.
