Those of us that have been on the contract for 30 plus years do not receive a significant raise each year and do not make much more than those just starting in a new position. It seems knowledge and experience is not rewarded.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The employees. We have a lot of people who have been on the contract for 20 and even 30 plus years. The knowledge and experience shows in our ability to do our work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have worked on this contract for 35 years this year. Our raises are very small. Those of us who have more time on and more knowledge are not compensated appropriately. The difference in pay for a new hire compared to a veteran is small. Beneifits cost more every year, so we are making less.
