Quality and competent managers and coworkers but the company seems to have little interest in offering the pay, benefits, and schedule flexibility to recruit and retain mid to late career professionals.

Ability to learn something new and work at a place that does important work for the U.S. population.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Teamwork is so seamless that it's often difficult to know who is government and who is a contract employee.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is not a hostile work environment and they will listen if there is an issue with a government manager.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Paid at the GS-9 to GS-11 level, with years of past experience, when similar government positions in my office start at GS-12 and include substantially more annual and sick leave.
