I feel discriminated against with my efforts to progress. Too many double standards and too many made up jobs to elevate the work load of site manager, deputy site manager and team leader.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Reliable, hard working, good at their job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Having certain people that they favour and those they don't. Being selective with confronting some employees and not others.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Being honest about the current situation when we show concern about if we will be staying open after the changes on the 24th March.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Not having managers interview friends or anyone where they work as I feel if your friendly with managers they can manipulate the interview to your advantage by giving you information about what questions will be asked. Why others go in blind to the process. Then lack of feedback if not successful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If expected to be doing the work of a team leader just to be paid for it. I look after around 10 employees and their performance and any issues if I can deal with them. Making sure they wear correct PPE, customer service at its best, replenishment and cleaning duties. Is this not a Team Leader job.
