What are some of the best things about your team?

They are highly professional despite the fact that they are underpaid

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Ever since the Alstom acquisition GE represents an existential uncertainty in our lives. Not sure if this will change with all the spin-offs

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Appreciate performance and present opportunities to employees that have already proven to be high performers instead of people who spend more time on networking and self-marketing than on their teams or serving our customers

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We have a high level of flexibility. That is the only thing that keeping most of the employees here. But COVID changed all of this and now more companies will adopt this kind of flexibility. GE will have to find new motivators very soon

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My role is placed in correctly within my band and all the leaders are aware of this but the executive leadership doesn't want to do anything about it because it would would be too costly to correct this. Same band for the same level of responsibility.
