It is a good company with good people. Flexibility in working arrangements (timing, location, etc.) is a strength and should not be undervalued. We need to focus on achieving business goals rather than counting hours worked or chest thumping on how many days you came into the office.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Flexible work culture. Understanding that not all our lives revolve around working for GE. Open to trying new things and encouraging looking for ways to be successful against our priorities, not just being present to punch the clock.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is still a lot of waste in our operations and not a lot of activity focusing on identifying and eliminating that waste. Doing a job that doesn't have a standard is fine for a little while but over time all you see is the waste and it becomes discouraging.
