GE Vernova is a good company with great people working at it. There is a range of experiences you will encounter in a company this large. We should take better control of our culture through training out managers and leaders with a common system to ensure all teams have the same positive experience
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
18 years at the company. Overall it has been positive with ups and downs. I think the direction we are moving is in a better place that where we have been. Improving the company and daily experience of the employees is key to long term retention.

People are hard working most of the time.

Working with others to solve problems. Knowing that we improved a customer's experience or issues.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is becoming more accepting of the idea that all our lives do not always revolve around GE's problems. Flexibility in how we get our work done is becoming more accepted and we continue to encourage growth and team connection.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People understand that life doesn't 100% revolve around work at GE. We have families and other obligations that demand our time. Most people a GE recognize that and leadership has gotten better at recognizing that. A salaried role does not mean the company gets unlimited access to you.
