My overall experience has been much better than my last job but the expectation of loyalty should go both ways. If the required work goes up, so should the actual compensation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work to help each other out and provide best practices as well as improvements to efficiency.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My immediate managers seem to be sympathetic to the issues that arise in my daily work as well as try to make those things easier to resolve.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
the company put a huge focus on Lean, but many of the "improvements" are just shuffling responsibility from one segment to another, without truly making the process Lean.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The management team appears to be interested in more than just the metrics. The executive team seems to be making arbitrary decisions without consulting all involved parties, but I suppose that is what every executive team does.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company continues to increase the metrics required for me to receive my entire compensation a much higher amount than they are increasing my compensation, which in turn lowers my actual compensation. required increase in productivity - 15%, increased compensation 3.5%.
