Talented and motivated people driven towards a uniform goal is seeing GE succeed

We cannot deliver for our customers...each day feels like a fight to convince to stick with us despite subpar performance

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is overly tied to experience (age)...I know that I am compensated roughly 30% less than others with similar responsibilities

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

GE tends to attract employees cut from a very similar cloth; individuals that work hard and have polished themselves over years (which is great) but very few employees have diverse interests

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is not aligned to local region. Within the company, huge gaps in early career talent in any band (LPB, SPB, or EB) vs. those that have simply been around longer but create less impact

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The bureaucracy within the company is suffocating...newly appointed leaders are looking to build out empires at the expense of the current organization and the people in our current organizations. Let's truly focus on maintaining the right organization for our customers, not for our SEB, VP egos.
