I have been in GE for over 10 years. GE used to have a great focus on people & culture we can be proud of. Sadly it is no longer the case, and we need to rebuild. Right now we have challenge in attractive talents, especially with unreasonable workload placed on people as we do more with less.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Journey in GE has been tremendous, and the company provided great development opportunities. Today, it is very hard to hold on to the culture & lead the team with promise for the future. We need to streamline, focus on critical few, and not exhaust team with overwork & constant change - team fatigue

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Eliminate culture of brutal work and financial focus. Not very smart, and need to bring more intelligent way of work. Plus leadership to care beyond financials.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have just had a promotion, however, the way HR handled this lead to effective reduction in pay. Terrible and disrespectful way to manage employee. Sad to see company no longer care about individually carefully.
