On April 2nd 2024, GE Vernova reached a historic milestone as it officially commenced operations as an independent company.

My experience has been great from day 1. I always have the feeling that I can keep learning & adding value, even though sometimes the fast pace we leave in the company make us fail to achieve our mid term objectives by pushing too hard on the short term view. This is changing in the past few years.

It has been a great experience so far, but we need to keep investing in those employees that want to grow and that have a passion to improve professionally...We as a company had a significant amount of challenges recently that prevented us to invest on growing future leaders

I think the best about GE's culture is the accountability that the people show on reaching their objectives...I can see that the motivation to achieve results is fantastic

The talent they have, and the accountability they show under difficult conditions. Even through very complex years and environment they have shown great performance and dedication to support the business on their objectives.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think GE has a good meritocracy culture and has people with a lot of talent working in the company...They have a culture of respect between managers and employees and promotes people wanting to grow in their careers within the company
What makes you most happy at work?
There is great talented people working at GE. From my direct reports, to my managers and leaders I think the people at GE are one of their biggest assets. I always feel happy about the things I can learn from my colleagues at GE.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The compensation should also be linked to the criticality of the role. Sometimes the best way to get a salary increase is to change roles, and that way you could drive too much rotation and people moving roles when they are at their peak of adding value on a specific role
