On April 2nd 2024, GE Vernova reached a historic milestone as it officially commenced operations as an independent company.

It is my 9th months with GE and is still relatively new for me to learn about the company every single day. I like the diversity of people and professionalism they demonstrated. The stakeholders relationship are matrix and could be complex to appreciate and I am still learning.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Overall I have a positive experience working with GE. I have been working from home from the my first day of work, due to Covid 19 pandemic. I believe that the positive experience will be greatly enhanced if I were to back to office physically.

They are willing to help and share solutions.

They are nice, professional and knowledgeable on their fields.

Nothing for now. I am contracted employee instead of FTE
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
being transparent and people are addressing on issues rather than being personal.
What makes you most happy at work?
Liaising with competent stakeholders and high caliber candidates would make my day.

I am leased employee so I do not entitle to what a GE employee does.

I enjoy the key tasks being achieved, which ultimate lead to the objective to be achieved.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are empowered and entrusted to do what they are hired for. The effort and outperformance will be recognized by management. The platform allow the work be fairly assessed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team I work with are nice and helpful. They are willing to take time to teach, guide and share knowledge with me. My line manager is very patient and always supportive of me. She entrust me with what I am doing day to day.
