I am not satisfied with most of my compensation package. The only good part is the yearly bonus.

Local managers and leadership team are candid and approachable. Upper management needs to engage and empower local leadership more.

There is always challenging work out there, however wish there was less useless work that has to be done to satisfy leadership.

My direct manager allows me the freedom to perform my work offering guidance when needed and is open to my concerns and feedback.

Glad my office has a higher percentage of people that come to the office everyday. It serves to promote learning and teamwork.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Given the market, our pay and benefits have fallen behind. We have consistently lost key employees and have trouble hiring in the competitive market.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Focus on the people here, ensure they are a priority. Too often I see leadership focusing on new employees at the expense of current employees.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Simply the organization and get rid of the red tape to get things done. Listen to the ground level employees, our opinions are often ignored causing long term problems at the execution level.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

GE's medical coverage is terrible. I switched to my spouse's plan which offers significantly more coverage at a lower price. On GE's plan, I had to decide if my kids were actually sick enough to warrant going to the doctor due to the cost, a terrible position for an employee of a company like GE.
