On April 2nd 2024, GE Vernova reached a historic milestone as it officially commenced operations as an independent company.

GE is the only company I've ever known, and after 16 years, I am as happy of my choice as I was on Day 1. While we've certainly had our share of ups and downs over the past several years, I believe in our company's overall direction and in our leadership team's ability to guide us on the journey.

I see much more partnership across the SLT than in year's past. All seemed to be aligned to our key business objectives.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Permissive Time Off and the culture it has created around empowering employees to take time off when they need it, without fear for what it will "cost" you down the line. I've found it to breed a culture that embraces the importance of a healthy work/life balance.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I feel like I've made a difference in something that matters, not only to our company, but ultimately, to our customers and the people they support around the globe. I view providing electricity to the world as a noble and honorable purpose, as a basic element of modern life.
