I think the demand that is put on our dept. is overwhelming. As it seems to be the norm to have our dept work 10,11,12 hours with no incentive. Or the understanding of work/life balance as a whole.

over worked, & under paid required to alter life at the drop of dime. Expectations for the dept. are always a a higher standard than other dept.'s. No work life balance requesting time off is always an issue & you're always declined due to short staff issues at no fault of yours.

We have a heavy workload and it takes a lot of multi-tasking to balance it out and meet our deadlines. There are always delays due to other sources not doing their due diligence to complete their tasks without constant prompting.
