Overall, my experience has been good. It would be nice to see some change regarding the compensation for employees for the better instead of it being justified by lay offs (creating more volume per person with less volume as a whole) and a compensation per file. I enjoy interacting with coworkers.
Overall, there is no room for advancement due to lack of accountability and being held down to advance after putting in the time and experience. A lot of nepotism goes into decisions as well.
Started out great and then plummeted after about a year.
The optimism that is shared by employees
Clear and precise communication along with accountability.
We have a willingness to help each other
We have good comradery and help each other
Making more hourly for a wage
Make a better environment around positivity
There is a welcoming culture and environment that feels safe
We get along well with each other and are on the same page.
Being able to help people with our bigger purpose than just doing loans.
Able to interact with everyone on your team but not others on other teams.
Better pay and not making it seem that any mistake will get you fired.
Very approachable and are always available to lend a helping hand. They also continue to motivate me.
I think leadership needs to hold those who are making mistakes more accountable instead of having their "fall guys" along with providing consistency.
The culture is toxic and we have a fear of being fired for any mistake that is somewhat made considering the "rules" are consistently changing.
We all work really well together and share a common goal of helping each other. Our team sees each other more as a family than as coworkers.
Employees here feel undervalued due to having to do duties outside of their scope and training and not be [aid fairly to catch the mistakes of those who make a very well off wage . It is hard to live on the salaries currently in place.
Considering we get paid less to clean up other departments mess who get paid more. Also, inflation and the world prices on simple goods increased and we lost money due to a market downfall and volume decrease. A cost of living adjustment in compensation to combat inflation.
The leadership team in the closing department is top tier and love to help!! Always able to see you as a person and not just an employee. I think this is very important when being in a leadership position because it makes people want to follow you during tough times.
The illusion that as a whole the company cares significantly about the employees but in reality it seems more and more of a smokescreen, employees are put in stressful situations and have to acquire a second job in order to provide for their families. Direct managers definitely care and it shows.
With the cost of living in California rising it becomes more and more difficult to try and flourish in the at home life away from the workplace. It personally makes the workplace feel more like work than a place to go to that you enjoy whether that is in office or remote. Plus the daily headaches.
