Initially, it was fun learning a new skill. At this point it sometimes feels like a chore or exhausting to just be here. Not allowing us to work from home for no reason other than to fill seats is ridiculous when we've never shown any decline in our abilities. Pay your employees a fair/livable wage.
What makes you most happy at work?
Talking to some of my coworkers.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I shouldn't have to be afraid of downtime. Due to the lack of mortgage loans being taken out, my job can be slow some days yet I'm terrified of being on my phone for any amount of time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Since the company has laid off so many people, I have taken on more responsibility but haven't been compensated for the tasks that I've taken on. I am always on top of my job and tend to go above and beyond. Yet I haven't had a raise in almost 3 years. At some point, atta boys aren't going to cut it
