The people are amazing and the jobs are what you would expect, the only thing that is severely lacking is the pay. We shouldn't need second jobs to pay our bills considering the amount of work and effort we put into the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're always willing to help when and where needed. It never feels like you're alone or stuck in a situation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone works together extremely well and everyone is always willing to help. Each coworker feels like someone I could actually call a friend.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflation has gone up every year yet we haven't been receiving raises to accommodate this, so we essentially make less money every year. A lot of jobs can be done remotely and forcing employees in those positions to return to office is redundant; it adds a commute, gas bill, and unneeded stress.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I enjoy the work and people I'm surrounded with, however it's hard to justify to myself that I should stay when I am essentially living in poverty. Living paycheck to paycheck makes me feel like I should look for a job elsewhere. A lot of employees have second jobs just to get by.
