They only pay for talk time, but have jobs that require work to be done off the phone like chat, email , and other duties which end up being unpaid work.
Those who works & have invested their time for the company are not getting the communication they need from the company.
Being commission based you would think they would have a more competitive pay rate.

The pay is not enough for the level of stress and work you have to do off the phone, which you are not compensated more than a few pennies for.
I feel valued day-to-day but not when in reference to growth opportunities. Depending on the department growth is dependent on who you interact with not on job performance. Growth and promotions should be based on ability, attitude, compentancy, not who is seen the most chatting in Slack.
the pay rate for work keeps dwindling from $0.25 per minute talk time across the board to most lines paying $0.20 per minute and some paying a little as $0.08 plus incentives. the call volume is less and the pay is also less. I would feel better about compensation if i was paid $0.25-0.35 talk time

If you are out of work and have no other option, 25 cents per minute might be something that works for you. But if you are used to being paid a set rate, it's torturous to see if you can make the quarters add up.
