I've only been here a few months, but I love what I do and the people I do it with. The volume of work to do with the number of people on the team is very out of ballance. 10+ hour days is the norm (including a lot of weekends)... there's more work than time or people.

The people are amazing and care deeply about each other, our customers and what we do.

They want to move the company forward and I believe they want to do right by employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My and my teams salaries are much lower than the national average for what we do and the hours we put in.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with and knowing that I can openly share my thoughts, ideas and opinions on work related issues and be heard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is loyal, helpful, empathetic, competitive (in a positive way) and over all, a fun group of people to spend 8+ hours a day interacting with.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe that on the average, employees an MB are paid below market value, myself included and merit increases have not helped to bridge that gap. There are promises made about compensation increases, but they do not seem to materialize.
