I have worked in the Northside system a long time-previously as GMC. In all those years I have grown and learned how to be a leader as well as a better follower. I stay here because I am proud of the work we do and know that we will always do what is right for the patient.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work like a family. Everyone cares about what's happening on the unit and how we are going to get it done. They work through the good the bad and the terrible!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are engaged in the current problems we face. They continually look for ways to grow, improve and provide the resources we need to take care of not only patients but the staff too.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all recognize that we are in this mess of a pandemic together and together we will get through it. The leadership sees the good, the rewards may be small at times but they happen just when you need them.
