Everybody is supportive and we have a lot of diversity

I love that I am heard and my team cares about me!

I feel happy when I am able to accomplish all tasks and help others.

Communication & Transparency - they are always here for me and make me feel valued. I never felt this way at previous companies.

My leadership team values my work and cares about me as an individual. I believe they treat everybody fairly and I am very happy to work at Northside Hospital.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I feel positive with the support I receive from my supervisor and managers. I work from home, but whenever I come to the office, I feel a wonderful and friendly energy!
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I work from home, so I don't really see them. I think there is a disconnect with support teams, but I think our new system should help with a lot of this.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping people find jobs - so many candidates are more than excited to gain an opportunity with Northside. I love to help others, whether it be potential candidates, current employees, the managers I work with, and mentoring other recruiters.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like my compensation has not caught up to inflation. I think the base pay rate for recruiters is pretty low compared to other companies. I want to stay with Northside, but if I were offered a higher compensation package + benefits, I might have to consider leaving.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel valued, but I do think my pay is in line with other recruiting positions on the market. I took a paycut to come to Northside, but I do think I deserve a bit more for all of the work I do and how well I do my work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I came from a toxic staffing environment where I could always be doing more and making more money. It was exhausting and draining. I feel like I am valued for my work at NSH. The day I received my first performance review was when I understood my value with a 4.5 and amazing comments!
