Northside is a big hospital. Just seems like we are employees and a person to fill a job. Many people get hired and quit, mainly for pay and benefits. Just seems like Northside is just happy to find someone to fill the spot that is vacant but does not increase pay enough to keep the employees.

Helping patients and seeing them feel better

Knowlege and compassion. My manager treats us like family

the coworkers are amazing. Everyone is willing to help
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone on my team works as a team and works together. We don't just come to work and only worry about ourselves; we look at the floor as a whole and work together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
RN pay is on the low side. 2% match in 403B investment is a joke. The pension does not pay much either after retirement. Health insurance is too expensive. Basically, the pay and benefits are not good and I see why people jump hospitals or work contracts.
