What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to improve how info is shared. It was previously stated in the September town hall that no one would be laid off and that offshore would be the first to go. Then 2 months later many employees are gone. No one has discussed it weeks later and now I am worried about my job.

Tenor increases upon annual performance reviews and holiday bonuses. Also lots of little moral boosts with contests, luncheons, etc.

The benefits here are so much better then some other employers benefits packages. I feel the sick time, vacation time and the focus on employee mental health is very important and valued at Ontellus.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My pay is the same rate as it was with a previous company over a decade ago. I have more knowledge and expertise than I did back then but the same pay. The cost of living has increased significantly but the pay has not. In my time here I have seen my rent increase by 30% and groceries by over 10%.

I feel undervalued by my pay. I do not get incentive but help everyone else achieve their goals and make way more money than I do.

I make less money than newer employees that I personally have trained. I make what incoming employees make and I have been here almost 4 years.

I write emails to client success that get copied and sent to clients, but I do not get credit for the clear communication, not even recognition as the writer. Instead, CSS gets recognition and money for using my writing. And when CSS needs to communicate with OM, they are vague or even wrong

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I feel that we need to hire better qualified workers, the newest incoming employees do not pick up the information, nor have the computer basics as they should. It seems as if the standard of employee has decreased.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Employee compensation is the biggest issue.

the level of understanding the new hires have is minimal, senior employees are not being promoted and people are being hired off of the street to do jobs that others can easily do, there are not enough knowledgeable employees left to train incoming employees so they are getting improper training.

I like having some challenges at work, and I do not have those anymore. I also dread the nonsense that is sure to arrive as order management alerts, or emails that do not provide necessary information, blame OM for problems caused by incomplete work in other divisions.

we are underpaid, and when I say this, I mean the del taco down the street pays their workers better. feels like were in detention unable to look at our phones 8 hours a day to be underpaid. unless they need us to use our phones and then its ok and i do not remember getting paid to use mine ever.
