Company works with vendors that send unhealthy animals. Enclosures for sale are too small. Not allowed to deny sales knowing they are going to neglectful situations. Refuse to staff adequately then reprimand for poor VOCs about customers not getting help. Anything for profits, not anything for pets

I was lucky to be interviewed and hired quickly during what I learned later was a mass resignation
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I'm positive we are understaffed and worked to the bone every single day while given useless obstructions by corporate that make our jobs more difficult
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Company can afford to be staffed properly but refuses to do so to save money. Burnout across the board, even for my part time associates
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Mileage varies greatly between stores. Some are good, some are terrible. All will tell you what you want to hear while not being allowed to make changes.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Vendors sending unhealthy animals. Don't work with those vendors. Enclosures too small for the animals we sell. Create adequate enclosures. Fish bowls should not be sold, period
