We all work together as a team and it makes it feel like they have my back no matter the situation. They feel like family and it makes coming into work everyday the best.

Too much fraternization between certain employees and management. The employees that choose not to fraternize with managers, are singled out and bullied

The do not rush your process in answering. The are very nice and if you have any questions they will explain it further. The get things to the point and are very professional.

3 interviews and a drug test for 18 hours a week is excessive and pushes people away from working there.

Working in petcare and being free to walk the store and help people learn about fish tanks and reptile care. I know mostly about these because I have both. However, I am very familiar with small animal care as well. Birds and turtles, not so much. Being tied to the register as cashier is the worst.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company needs to have proper training on the care of animals. However they sell and market products that are inappropriate for the animals we sell.

Customer service is key, but customer service will not improve unless the work environment is more friendly and fair to associates
