What makes you most happy at work?
Pairing people with a pet that is perfect for them and the animal as well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people I work with are all different and interesting. There's always someone to sympathise with you and casual banter throughout the day is allowed.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Open communication between morning and evening crews about what has and has not been done would save time and prevent aggrivation between teams. Accountability also needs to improve.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Delegating tasks to the people best suited for them. Ordering items before they are needed, keeping strife between employees at a minimum, caring about all the animals needs not just getting the bare minimum done, and trying to help the people under them do their jobs effeciently.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a part time employee I get paid well enough for cashier work. However I am NOT a cashier. I work in petcare. We take care of the animals whether they are sick,nice, healthy, aggressive or not. I barely get paid more than a cashier even though my job is more risky when it comes to being bit.
