I've been here 5+ years and merit increases per year are nominal not even inflation levels. It seems there's more value in hiring new people that haven't proven themselves than to retain current.

Give equity rather than phantom stock units so that employees can hold on to the equity for more than a year. Give equity that is in line with market rates.

Our pay for performance philosophy is a great one, but I don't always see it reflected in practice.

Pay is not where it should be and yearly "raises" are just cost of living (and probably will be a pay cut again). Back up the "people are our foundation" talk. If you have to pay someone else more to replace me, you should be paying me more.

I work for a toxic manager and even though I love my company and my job, this person makes my work life miserable. People managers should be better trained and should understand HR basics.

Too many company priorities that are left up to teams to prioritize how they see fit, so teams are moving in different directions. "Top" priorities are still under resourced bc teams are stretched too thin. We move WAY too slowly to be innovative or operate within best practices. Too political.
