Overall it has its ups and downs. We've had a lot of turnover but also hiring a lot. Seen a lot of cultural shifts, processes, etc so overall positive. Having been here so many years it also can get a little mundane though.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have a vision more so than the old team. They seem to be empathetic and creating better culture.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They have been very accommodating during pandemic. Huge difference in how HR (compared to prior) handles situations, communications, processes.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone cares about each other and is willing to help out. There is diversity on the team which is great.
What makes you most happy at work?
Making a difference in helping consumers (home buying), working with great and smart people, being able to have flexibility .
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've been here 5+ years and merit increases per year are nominal not even inflation levels. It seems there's more value in hiring new people that haven't proven themselves than to retain current.
