savers Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Seeing the other employees when I walk in the door. And interacting during the day.

Being left alone to do my job to the best of my ability

Completing the work doing what they ask of me even though I know it's more than what my job entails and not getting any help and showing them that I can do it and I did it alone

Serving customers and helping coworkers when they need help

That I get to be around my type of people and help people and be productive

The help in the community I give no matter how small

Being recognized for my work ethic and being spoken to in a communicative manner

Being productive and seeing results from my efforts even though they are never acknowledged

The people there but they don't last because a dollar fifty or two dollars more an hour makes a difference. They leave We all start looking

When tasks are easily completed and mostly I enjoy making anyone smile, be it a customer or be it a coworker. It feels good making people smile! :)

Beating yesterday's me is very important

i enjoy talking with my coworkers

It's an amazing feeling knowing your making a difference globally!

Review from Product Dept

genuine interactions with customers as opposed to scripted responses being rhymed off.

Review from Sales Dept

Fast paced so it's difficult to get bored

Review from Product Dept

The interaction with my co-workers to solve issues and ensure a great shopping experience

Review from Operations Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There are many many things wrong with this company, its impossible to explain in 300 letters.

We could be treated like people and not numbers. Consider demographics more, stop with the back checks, it doesn't make sense we're trusted to meet corporates unrealistic quotas but not trusted to not steal, its extremely bad for morale

Review from Operations Dept

They need to change the culture of the company from protecting those who do not work to actually holding people accountable and actually valuing the criticism of tenured lower management who are struggling to do the work of ten people. But the company DOES NOT TOLERATE whistleblowing.

Review from Product Dept

No marketing or brand awareness

One front end supervisor is condescending. It can be improved by being recognized and addressed by the store manager.

Review from Sales Dept

Honestly, everyone at my store started quitting because of how badly we the workers were treated. I don't see it getting better unless management buckles down and listens to the workers, promotes from within, and works hard to show employees that they and their well-being are valued.

Review from Sales Dept

What do you like best about your company?

Knowing that my work is making an impact not only locally but globally! That's an awesome feeling

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

All this recycling business. There needs to be recycling in the employee's break rooms and front of store. It drives me insane to hear about the amazing difference we are making and then turn around to see plastic bottles overfilling the garbages.
