Sprint – Since Sprint dealers typically pay garbage wages, we typically get employees that can’t even figure out how to file paperwork properly, let alone help customers with complicated issues. Rarely we will hire someone worth their weight, and they get picked up instantly by a better paying job. | Comparably

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Hiring worthy employees, not outsourcing care, not providing better offers through online than in the stores when we’re the front line and the reason your business stays afloat. And please stop saying your network is within 1%, I also have AT&T and there is literally no comparison.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I’d feel better about my compensation if I got paid to help Sprint keep their customer base, instead of just growing it. Sprint says it costs more to bring on new customers than it does to save current customers, yet here is no benefit working for a dealer to keep customers happy, besides upgrading.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Pay. I went to school for precisely the role I play in my company, and even if I got to a store manager position they don’t make enough money to entice me to put in 100% effort, so I’d rather take the money and invest in a small business, then work towards building in a failing environment.
