Overworked and underpaid, expected to be extremely effective with little incentive to go above.

I have felt undervalued by the company for most of my tenure. They like to say they value their employees greatly but do not pay very well, instead opt for expensive swag, large banquets and expensive office overhauls.

Achieving a promotion and realizing that is the only way to get a meaningful raise. Downside to this is that you likely have to switch positions rather than continuing in the same role and expanding your efforts there.

most people are great, the workload is over bearing in many instances though.

I am significantly underpaid compared to my position at other companies within the industry.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The pay is definitely too low for the people that are responsible for the nuts and bolts.

People have fun when they come together, however it can sometimes be a facade because your often over worked and underpaid.

Retention needs to be increased because it is such a niche industry. Retention could be increase with higher pay and less extreme workloads.

I am paid lower than comparable positions in the industry. It does not encourage retention, I now many that have left and were paid much higher.

I wish I was paid more for what I do and the value I bring. Employees come first is a company motto but virtually everyone feels underpaid.

I feel underpaid in comparison to other jobs in the industry. company does really well, most feel underpaid. Less swag, more pay would be a good adjustment.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Less swag, more pay. Option to work form home with sparing mandatory in office time. Otherwise give raises specifically for the time and money it costs to commute.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

At the end of the day what really counts is my salary. This could be higher with a reduction of company swag and 8 floors in an office building when most people work at home. I would be much happier with the company with more money.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I would be much happier with larger merit raises. The review process seems not meaningful as it is nearly impossible to achieve exceeding expectations, especially for being in the position for 1 year. There is no transparency in the review process as i have been told so many things by diff peopl
