This is company is on a great trajectory, but like any large corporation it gets in its own way. There are a lot of opportunities to become more efficient if enough investment is made in infrastructure.
This is a great company with lots of room for growth, but there is almost no financial investment in scaling our capabilities for the future.
Oversold, underdelivered. This company is great at getting employees in the door but awful at retaining them.
Inclusion and future vision are most positive
The 10 SPS values are most positive
Better benefits, financial awards for hard work.
They show empathy at every opportunity
Dedication and drive. This company highly values inclusion
Hardworking people who care. Dedicated employees
Getting a lot of work done
Diversity, empathy, collaboration, and ambition
They are all hardworking people
They have relatively more compassion than your average leadership team
Less focus on lofty sales goals, more focus on delivering an outstanding product
Variety of work. Every day is something new and a different client to help.
Merit increases are always 3%. No sick days. You do not get paid more for going above and beyond for the company.
SPS does not move at the speed of business. Most of our customers are annoyed by this and frustrated that SPS refuses to improve.
Profit sharing outside of stock purchase, year-end bonus, merit-bonuses, recognition for hard work. We have zero sick days and must use vacation days for COVID or mental health.
Pay is well below standard. I was haggled with on salary when I was hired. Pay raises are minimal. Pay raises only happen annually, and I was skipped over.
My initial salary offer was low and disrespectful. Raises are small compared to inflation. They tend to inflate employees' job titles instead of proper compensation. People here often quit and come back after SPS offers significant raises.
Context as a new hire: When I was hired, my offer was $5000 less than what my current pay was. I feel like losing the $5000/year was more of a demotivator than anything. I won't miss that $5k biweekly but feel a little nickel and dimed when I am giving 110% to SPS.
