It starts out as a pretty solid place to work, however the little flaws becoming glaring after some time. It's like a glossy veneer covering some rotten wood.

Being able to work with my co-workers

We are like a big family

They know how to lead

They are charismatic, and likeable. They seem like they have everyone's best interests at heart.

We trust in each other and can rely on each other to get the job done.

The culture is very inclusive. There are many events and opportunities to show how much the company cares about the diversity.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is super friendly and helpful. It's never a competition between us, we are also here to help each other and do our best to succeed as a team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like to be paid more. We hear about all these quarters if consecutive growth, but it doesn't feel like we are compensated for the amount we are growing.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to do good work, and help people. Also being able to listen to music while doing tasks. Like, a Whistle as you work can do wonders for your mentality
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I was very happy with the inclusivity, I see signs on the bathrooms advocating for Trans rights, and they are always doing good for the community and helping People of Color
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has a strong bond and connection. We work well together, and we really feel it when a member is missing or sick. It's a shame that we are losing them, so something so easily remedied.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As the business grows, I feel that they should be able to raise the wages of their employees as well. The tech landscape has become more competitive, and should let their employees know that it's worth it to be a part of team SPS
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership needs to understand the value of our employees, and the changing Job Market. They won't be able to maintain the current employees they have without adjusting the compensation to match the job market. 89 Quarters of Consecutive Growth doesn't mean anything if we aren't seeing any change.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My team gets so much work put onto them, and we hardly get anything for it. We don't hardly get any team outings, no catered meals. We make grease the gears that keep the company going, but I feel like a second hand employee. We aren't even given a proper cost of living raise. It's bad for morale.
