This place has been my home for a long time & I hope to keep it that way. I'm proud to be a part of SPS Commerce.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I could count well over a dozen close friends & family I've referred to work here because I believe so strongly in what we do. When I say it's family, I mean that literally. I convinced my brother & sister in-law to work here (it wasn't a hard sell!)

This might out me as a writer of this survey, but I have literally referred my little brother & sister in law to work here. When I say it's like family to me, it truly is. It's a blast working alongside my family every day and watching them succeed.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Our annual Sales Kick Off every year is an incredible example of everything you love about working in sales at SPS Commerce. At SKO, we work hard to hone our skills, do awesome charity work, & celebrate the heck out of each other. Can't beat it.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Brand new managers with less SPS tenure & less management experience are paid more than me. My peers have confirmed this in conversation. I've also seen this with individual contributor roles during comp/OTE rollouts each year. The entire strategy needs to be re-thought in my opinion.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Leadership asked a lot from our department & set quotas very high without increasing OTEs to match. The dependencies we were promised to back up that quota did not manifest and we have not meaningfully adjusted to that in any way. Increasing salaries, OTEs, and adjusting quotas would go a long way

What makes you most happy at work?

A career at SPS has changed my life for the better. Helping others achieve a similar outcome is the biggest reward. Buying that first home. Paying off student loans. Getting married. Having kids. An amazing career enables so much. It's an honor to help others do the same.
