There is a culture of underpay, overwork, and out of touch executives. The coworkers are great though.

The social and collaborative culture is really nice, as well as the hybrid flexibility. But after being here for a little while you realize the fundamentals of workload and executive engagement with employee well-being and insights are terrible. The volume of work isn't sustainable

Have a more listening-forward approach to employees instead of passing down strategies that we already know won't work.

SPS has a strongly collaborative culture with a respect for work-life balance that obviously is cultivated from the top down

The way socialization is encouraged and not just stiffly scheduled. It's easy to make friends and enjoy yourself between time spent grinding

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Wages are too low in my role, and across SPS. For a company that's been thriving for 20 years, starting pay should be higher

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Focus more on employee perspective instead of pushing through initiatives from the top that aren't practical. Wages are low and workload is high. Employee wellbeing isn't being prioritized

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The entry level roles here are asked to perform at a level that warrants a 30% pay increase across the board. It takes years to break into a fair market wage here.
