I wish I had applied many years earlier when I left the workforce to be a fulltime parent because spouse traveled for their career. Never dreamed a company existed that truly embraced the concept of work-life balance as contributing to (and not in conflict with) its success in the marketplace.

Diversity and inclusivity and the lengths SPS goes to support efforts to continue to work on these two challenges that in turn helps us all grow personally and professionally.

Smart and compassionate people who exemplify the true meaning of what it means to be a team player. They are a joy to be with when we celebrate our successes.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Speaking as a more mature newish employee (only a few years), I found the environment to be refreshingly welcoming and inclusive, making a few close friends within a year. I look forward to interacting with my colleagues.

There are opportunities to interact with other teams almost from day 1 and it is encouraged whether it's to get help with a specific issue, explore possible career paths, or just to learn more about how they contribute to the overall success of the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is a desire for transparency so that those in the same role performing at the same skill level are paid the same (or closer to). I understand it's just business, but it undercuts morale and contributes to attrition as good employees look elsewhere for pay that is keeping up with inflation.
