I have been with SPS for a year and a half now and I wouldn't change anything!

I am the most happy when tasks are completed.

As a female technologist, I find diversity and inclusivity is the most positive culture at SPS.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are large company meetings where the leadership shares with the employees their objectives and they are transparent about the goals.

I love how inclusive the culture is at SPS! I can walk up to anyone and feel comfortable chatting with them.

I like that I can run into them at the office. They are not intimidating to approach and start a conversation with.

I really like moving tasks to the 'Done' column in Jira, but what makes me the most happy at work is the #petpix Slack channel.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I really love the stock bonus I receive, especially because SPS stock has only trended up since I started working here. That means we're doing it right!
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is highly intelligent and offer to share their knowledge with me regularly. It shows they care about my success on the team and that makes it a wonderful environment for me to thrive and grow in my career.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It is a little odd that I must work for the company for a year in order to be fully vested in my stock bonus. This stock bonus was used as leverage to entice me to join the company and that it in combination with my salary would match my last position compensation.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I just think there was some confusion when I first started about the bonus stock program. I'm grateful to receive a bonus in stock, but didn't realize how long it took to be fully vested so it will take some years before I can access the bonus. I did take a cut in my salary when joining SPS.
