I think SPS has been a great place to work for many years. There are a few steps that can be made to keep it going in that direction. We need to talk about work-life balance and salary openly.

I worked at SPS for a period of time right after college, left for a new job and came back. It seemed like their priorities were solid when I rejoined, but now we aren't doing nearly enough to make this a good place to work.

SPS hires great employees, they just have a very tough time keeping employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflation has hit all of us this year. SPS Salaries have remained fairly stagnant throughout.

SPS' strength has always been its talent. People here are smart, caring and bought in to the plan.

Compensation has not kept up with the external job market so people are making a lot more money leaving the company
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We've got some serious issues in employee retention. Great employees leave weekly, and it takes a long time for new employees to be trained
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The celebration of 80+ quarters of growth paired with fairly stagnant wages and small merit increases is a big concern among employees. We see our work paying off for our shareholders, but not for the people actually doing the work.
