My manager's comments made me feel my achievements are less impressive/important (e.g. 'it just an add-on', 'it a team effort', 'you may think it a success but...', 'it good xyz praised your contribution but...', etc.).

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Our direct manager to walk the talk, be vulnerable, and: (1) start to truly listen to our pain points instead of going into 'solution-mode', (2) start to foster safe environment where collaboration (instead of toxic competition) is rewarded.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

It critical for my manager to be vulnerable and start to: (1) remove repeat implicit bias against my work ethic, my work personality, and my career aspiration, (2) remove repeat favoritism toward certain type of personality and/or gender and/or role.
