It seemed great when I first started, the team was more positive and felt more structured. We don't have a defined definition for what the team does as we touch "Everything" and with the increased amount of work we've taken on, with high turnover and not replacing fast enough , is stressful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is decent, there's always plenty for us to bond over
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Disorganization, structure within teams, support for the teams doing all of the work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I currently do not have a lot of positive feelings towards the culture as it feels like they are so focused on making money, they are forgetting to support their employees
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I need to make almost $8/hour just to afford to live paycheck to paycheck by myself in a safe area of MPLS. I cannot be financially independent at a "highly rated" white collar job
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Organization. Structure. There is no clear set rules of what the team does or should be responsible for and share other responsibilities with other teams. Training is all over the place and it takes awhile to catch on fully.
