I have enjoyed my time at SPS for the most part; my most recent review left a sour taste in my mouth, so we'll see what's to come.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Coworkers are kind and engaging.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving a difficult issue and putting it to rest.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is not a clear route for better pay; performance evaluations are subjective and unfair, pay increases are marginal.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone collaborates willingly and in a manner that doesn't make anyone feel bad for asking questions. I've learned more from my coworkers than trainings I've taken.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Competitive pay and benefits. Why do we only have PTO, not separate sick time? Other companies are outperforming SPS in terms of pay, but SPS doesn't seem to care.
