What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is open to new methods of approaching old problems and exploring new avenues of thought and technology.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. There are a lot of people who want to help people learn and grow within their role.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company's leadership clearly doesn't believe in or follow the company's values. They ring extremely hollow when the company continues to see success while employees suffer under low wages and an extreme amount of middle managers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
A lot of recent decisions have been made without input from the teams that need to support the required change. There is often little or no information or guidance around what is driving the decisions that are made, research supporting decisions, or allowing for feedback from teams.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We're underpaid for the market, and for the roles we hire for. The benefits offered by SPS are laughably bad. One segment of the org gets bonuses, so they're the most bought in. The vast majority of the employees of SPS aren't compensated fairly and consistently lose money by working here.
