If you have the necessary support of your team and manager, SPS is a great place to work.
Our team is kind, energetic and reliable.
I like that they feel accessible.
I like that the leadership team works to have facetime.
I look forward to learning and am happy to get the opportunity to grow and to learn.
You can always find your pockets of people that will accept you and foster a relationship with you.
Speaking to my best friends through Slack. As for the immediate work, I like to solve problems and it allows me to do so.
Tech is a great place to be. TPD and Technology has the most positive culture that I have encountered in my many years here. People are patient, kind, and committed to their work.
My current team is excellent! They are kind, intelligent, hard-working, and patient. My previous team was filled with people who were unmotivated, unwilling to work to improve, and content remaining in the role while doing the bare minimum.
SPS matches the market rate for only a few roles, leaving those of us in roles that otherwise would be paid significantly higher elsewhere, feeling like we are not valued - appreciated - acknowledged, and retained. This has led to people leaving and SPS' choice contributing to staff being overworked
At a point, regardless of whether someone receives an "Exceeds Expectations" in their role - the percentage of pay increase will go down - due to role caps. That feels unfair to the individual. I also believe in pay equity and SPS does not divulge pay details or details regarding pay bands.
