I enjoy the company and the work i do. I would like to see the parental leave and work load be adjust to be realistic. I am 6 years in to my career and looking to start a family. With my current work load and demands, I'm fearful that I won't be able to keep this job AND start a family.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that our leadership team is approachable. I don't feel like its a scary thing to go up and talk to any of our Csuite leaders.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The employees are great! we have some hard workers in SPS. I think the culture is everyone is over worked and its a "normal" thing to work on weekends. which SHOULD NOT be the expectation for employees to do that and feel the they have to in order to get stuff done.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I would like to see the companies goals aligned across the board, It seems like each segment of sps whether that be Supplier or retailer or Sales and CS. Everyone has their own priorities that they are trying to go above and beyond their "day job". our goals should align with everyone's goal.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am constantly working beyond 40 hrs a week and would like to be properly compensated for the demands of this job. we are given unrealistic timelines for projects. I would like to see SPS to update their parental leave to be realistic to the needs of a family have a new baby.
