Overall, SPS is a great company to work at. I would love to see an improvement in benefits and compensation so that we can gain that competitive edge in hiring the best, however, I love the environment that I work in and enjoy coming to work everyday.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love the leadership team that I report directly to. They are all so helpful and understanding. They create a really great work environment.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very supportive and helpful. They are always willing to help out. I love getting to come into the office and interact with everyone.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love how willing everyone is to help others. I think the succeed together mindset is really strong. I also think SPS just has a really positive and comfortable culture.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my coworkers and being able to help my customers and their business. I love being able to problem solve and really have ownership of my work. I never feel micromanaged or like my manager is looking over my shoulder. I feel very trusted and it brings me so much joy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that our benefits are not good enough. We still have the benefits of a small company, when that isn't what we are. Our maternal leave is laughable. Our PTO could be better. Our C-suite has said we are middle of the pack with our benefit offerings and seems to be ok with that and I am not.
